This was a two-part workshop. The aim of this two part workshop is to help participants learn about the myths around credit, the facts around credit reports, credit ratings, and credit scores alongside strategies on how to protect or repair their credit.

This is a one-hour Wellness Wednesdays workshop on “Worry Less, Enjoy Life More” facilitated by LifeWorks. Do you sometimes have trouble falling asleep or concentrating on a task because you feel anxious? Though some amount of worry is normal and can even protect us from danger, too much anxiety isn’t healthy. It can affect your work, relationships, health and ability to enjoy life.

In celebration of Pride Month, Dr. Chugh joined Dr. Hekman and Dr. Ng. Dr. Hekman, MD FACP, is a practicing internal medicine specialist and founding physician of the Center for LGBTQ+ Care at the Lakewood Family Health Center. He serves as a Regional Medical Director for Regional Operations and Cleveland Clinic’s Community Health and Partnerships. Dr. Ng, MD, MPH, FAAP, FACP (he/they) is an internal medicine and pediatrics trained physician and has been working in LGBTQ+ health for 15 years. They serve as the Director for the Center for LGBTQ+ Care and the Transgender Surgery & Medicine Program at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Chugh, Dr. Hekman and Dr. Ng looked at myths and misconceptions toward the 2SLGBTQ+ community, challenges related to stigmatization, and discuss how sex, gender and sexuality intersects to impact both mental and physical health.

In celebration of Black History Month, Dr. Chugh joined by Dr. Titilayo Olupona, Executive Health Physician at Cleveland Clinic Canada, as they discuss the importance of Black health and wellness, and some of the barriers that Black people face in accessing health care. Born in Nigeria and fluent in Yoruba, Dr. Olupona has lived in the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. Inspired by her father, who is an OB/GYN, Dr. Olupona knew she wanted to go into the field of medicine at an early age and is dedicated to helping her patients live healthier lives.

Establishing healthy workplace habits can improve energy and concentration, avoid the afternoon slump, and reduce sick days. This session guides participants to make healthier meal and snack choices at work, avoid mindless eating, and stay energized without relying on caffeine throughout the workday.
